MARIO VS. RAMAYAN - A clear observation

We all know that the concept of most games in the famous "Super Mario" series is about two Italian brothers named Mario and Luigi who are always busy trying to rescue their princess from a monstrous king known as Bowser (aka King of the Koopa race) and after defeating the Koopa king, they rescue the princess, thereby restoring peace to the kingdom. Isn't this very similar to the famous "Ramayan" epic, where two brothers named Rama and Lakshmana fight the mighty lord Raavana because he has kidnapped their princess Sita? Observe carefully. Now that it is proven, here is the comparison of the Ramayan characters with those in the Mario series:-
  • Rama - Mario (because of being the main character in the story)
  • Lakshmana - Luigi (being the hero's brother)
  • Sita - Princess Peach (being the damsel-in-distress)
  • Raavana - Bowser (being the mighty king who kidnaps the princess)
  • Indrajit - Bowser Jr. (being the king's warrior son)
  • Hanuman - Yoshi (a good friend who fights well)
  • Other Monkeys - Other Yoshis (being a species of many look-alikes)
  • Urmila (Lakshmana's wife) - Princess Daisy (being Luigi's love)
  • Mareechi (Raavana's uncle) - Kamek (being Bowser's elder who knows magic)
